Bid Writing
DE Sportz & Dance have a Bid Writer on board called Lucinda White who has been helping schools apply for funding from the Awards for All project. Once delivering a sports or dance programme in school we can then help the school with a Lottery Funded Bid, which if successfull can be up to £10,000.
We are currently applying for bids through our newly formed ALL4U Community Interest Company for Schools and Local TARA groups, and we have recently secured £7,500 for Local TARA groups in sheffield to deliver FREE After school clubs & Holiday clubs in 2021/2022
Therefore we are currently providing FREE Sports & Dance clubs at Norfolk Park & Gleadless TARA Groups through funding we obtained from the National Lottery of Sheffield City Council.
We also delivered 2 weeks of Multi-sports at Norfolk Park TARA group in the school summer holidays 2021.
We have had two South Yorkshire schools that have been successful in their bids both winning up to £9,000 and ran FREE Breakfast, Lunch, After school clubs and Holiday Clubs. Along with two tournaments between the schools and new sports and dance equipment to enhance the coaching, these session ran for 12months. We are currently applying for other bids for both Schools & TARA Groups.
