DE Sportz&Dance; Athletics Competition
DE Sportz&Dance; Sponsored this years South Yorkshire Primary School Athletics annual event at the English Institude of Sport.
Five primary schools had free Athletics Coaching then attended the EIS on July 11th to complete in track and field events.
Dobcroft were the winners, with Wales a close second and Aston claimed third place. This annual event is to promote sports and activities in local primary schools, as our company believes in enjoyment in healthy exercise, together with competitiveness, teamwork and fun at these competitions.

Competitions
DE Sportz & Dance provide coaching in a variety of sports and dance, to enter and compete in tournaments provided by ourselfs and other organisations.
In March 2016 DE Sportz & Dance coached in two of our schools who entered a Basketball & Gymnastics competition. They both qualified from the sheffield region and went on to represent sheffield in the SOUTH YORKSHIRE FINALS at the English Institute of Sport. Where they would then face other schools from Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster & Barnsley. This festival has over 160 teams and 1800 children in attendance together with parents and teachers from Primary and Secondary Schools from across South Yorkshire competing in a multitude of sports and is covered in the local press.
Woodseats Year 4 mixed Basketball team whom we coached, finished runners up in the Basketball Tournament only losing one game throughout which was the Final and picked up the silver medal. A fantastic achievement for not only the Pupils who played amazing in the games, but also the Teachers and Parents and DE Sportz & Dance who attended the Festival to coach and cheer them on.
Birley Year 3-4 mixed Gymnastics team whom we trained, finished runners up in the floor & vault section picking up the silver medal. This also was an amazing achievement, being cheered on by Parents, Teachers and DE Sportz & Dance.
DE Sportz & Dance ran our very own competition on the 11th march in High green at the paces sports centre.
In the Year 5/6 Greengate Gators beat the Lound Leopards 2-0 in the final to win the Uni Hock Trophy.
In the Year 3/4 Lound Lizards beat Lound Lightning in a “penalty shoot out” after drawing 3-3 in the game, they also won a Uni Hock Trophy for their school.
The Uni Hock Tournament is an annual event and will be taking place next year in the Spring term, we welcome any Primary school in the local Area to take part in this competition.
